Become Sunny for a day!
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to step into the shoes of our mascot, Sunny.
We need volunteers trust-wide. Whether you’re based at Haltwhistle or Blyth Community Hospital, we want volunteers for all of our sites, usually to spare 15 minutes to a few hours.
This can be done alongside your role in the trust, making it a fantastic opportunity to support your NHS charity.
What does this involve?
- Taking part in our Mascot Mondays, visiting staff and delivering a special treat to our hard working teams.
- Volunteering at external events, like charity golf days, to advertise the charity and spread a bit of brightness around.
- Challenging yourself to a sporting event, like the Great North Run’s mascot race!
How much would I need to do?
It’s really up to you! Our volunteers can pick and choose their shifts.
We will have regular Monday shifts at various times of the day, but sometimes we may need volunteers on evenings or weekends.
We’ll set up a group chat where our volunteers can mark availability quickly via polls.
