Ways to Give

There are many ways you
can give to Bright.

Donate

Donating is a brilliant way of helping to make a difference – whether it’s a general donation or to support a cause or department that is special to you – you can be assured your funds will go to where you specify and will make a huge impact on what we can do.

Fundraise in celebration

Whether it’s a birthday, a wedding or an anniversary, there’s always a reason to celebrate! Why not support Bright at the same time?

Fundraising in celebration couldn’t be easier, simply set up a fundraising page on Just Giving and start spreading the word.

Don’t forget to let us know about your plans and we can make sure you make the most of your special occasion.

Donate in memory

You can create an ‘in memory’ page on Just Giving. This will allow you to collect donation while opening up a special space online to share memories of your loved one with family and friends.

Ask for donations at funerals or memorial services

Many people now choose to ask for donations in place of flowers at a loved one’s funeral. If you would like to collect donations at a funeral, your Funeral Director should be happy to help you in the organisation of collecting at the funeral itself.

Partner with us

Whether it’s employee fundraising and engagement, one-off events or a corporate sponsorship opportunity, Bright is delighted to partner with companies and organisations, no matter how large or small, working across a range of sectors.

Being a corporate partner is a great way of helping our hospitals and services to deliver care to people across North Tyneside and Northumberland, offering a number of mutual benefits to the company, your client and staff as well as Bright charity and the patients and communities we serve.

Leave a gift in your Will

A gift in your Will, no matter how big or small, makes a huge difference on what we can do to support our patients, staff and local communities in future.

Legacy gifts ensure that we can continue to invest in and undertake a wide range of new projects, whether it might be transforming children’s services through purchasing equipment or enriching the environment by making it colourful and cheerful to enjoy or investing in ground-breaking research – there are endless ways your legacy gift can provide support. To ensure that your legacy can be used to support the changing needs of healthcare it is advised that the gift is made for general purposes and has limited restrictions on use if possible.

Donate In-Kind

In-kind donations provide us with essential and additional goods, services or advice, helping us to support healthcare.

We will work with you to ensure your gift in-kind can make a difference and can be directed to where they are needed most.
