As a Child Health volunteer, you support children and families in a busy hospital environment.
Your role is important in making patients and visitors feel welcome and supported and assisting play specialists.
What tasks can this role include?
– Meet and greet patients and visitors, advising and supporting around a large unit
– Work in partnership with the ward team e.g. play assistants, to locate toys and pack away at the end of the day
– Support with providing drinks and snacks for patients and visitors
