‘Vivienne’ – DASH

Vivienne is a life like manikin manufactured by Lifecast. She is an exact replica of a 91-year-old lady. She is amazing and looks so life like she brings out real empathy and caring in learners.

She is used to help teach extended and difficult communication skills, care of the dying, palliative care scenarios, end of life, verification of death and the last office to name a few.

We have spoken to care of the elderly and palliative care members of staff (Consultants and nurses) both in hospital and community, and they were truly amazed and excited by Vivienne and the new ideas they have for teaching.
