On Thursday 18 September, we came together to celebrate all the brilliant people who make the Northumbria Volunteer Service (NVS) possible.

Over 150 volunteers and organisers joined us at The Exchange in North Shields for an evening of good food, great company, and plenty of dancing!

This celebration was a small thank you; a heartfelt way to show our appreciation to the local people who give their time, bringing brightness and care to Northumbria Healthcare.

We were delighted to be joined by Chief Executive Birju Bartoli and Chairman Sir Paul Ennals, showing the trust’s ongoing support for our volunteers.

Entertainment from Jeanie and the Jolly Boys set the perfect tone with classic 50s pop!

A representative from the Northumbria Volunteer Service said: “It was wonderful to see so many of our volunteers come together at our annual social evening to celebrate the incredible contribution you make to our Trust and community. We are truly grateful for all that you do – our service simply wouldn’t be the same without you!”
