Miller Homes donates treats for Northumbria Healthcare patients this Easter

This week, Bright Northumbria Healthcare Charity received hundreds of Easter eggs, generously donated by Miller Homes.

Trudy Alexander, Charity Champion for the North East branch, lead the initiative. The donation aims to benefit patients in both children’s services and elderly care.

Trudy said: “Bright supports various projects close to some of our developments across the North East, making a significant difference to many people.

“We’ve contributed over 300 Easter eggs. If this brings a smile to each recipient’s face, it means the world to us all at Miller Homes. Our goal is to provide support where it is most needed.”

Staff from the Children’s Assessment Unit gratefully accepted the donation. Nursery nurse, Katherine Melrose, said: “We are very thankful for the generous donation of Easter eggs from Miller Homes.

“This will help to brighten the day for children and families who unfortunately have to stay in hospital over Easter time.

“Trudy was very friendly and expressed her joy at being able to donate the eggs on behalf of her team. Many thanks and Happy Easter to all.”

This Easter weekend so many patients will receive this thoughtful gift, thanks to Miller Homes’ generosity.
